Amhara Region Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association (ARCCSA) is an autonomous, non-profit private sector institution and membership based organization. Its establishment, guided by proclamation no. 341/2003, signifies its pivotal role in advancing trade, industry, and investment within the region. ARCCSA serves as a vital platform wherein the business community converges to deliberate on their respective activities, exchange insights, and collectively address related issues.
Moreover, in alignment with the mandates outlined in the proclamation, ARCCSA actively engages in providing proposals and recommendations to the government, thereby contributing to the formulation of policies conducive to sustainable economic development. Through its multifaceted initiatives and collaborative approach, ARCCSA embodies a commitment to fostering a vibrant business ecosystem and driving the socio-economic progress of the Amhara region.
Established in Bahir Dar city in January 2007, the chamber serves as a cornerstone for economic collaboration and development within the region. Its primary function lies in facilitating and harmonizing the endeavors of member city & woreda chambers of commerce and sectoral associations, thereby promoting synergy and collective action towards shared goals. Beyond mere coordination, the chamber actively engages in providing assistance and support to areas where formal chambers or associations are absent, ensuring that all communities have access to the resources and guidance necessary for sustainable economic growth.
