Who we are

The driving force behind trade, industry, and investment in the Amhara region.

Our Journey

The Amhara Region Chamber of Commerce Sectoral Associations (ARCCSA) functions as an autonomous, non-profit organization operating within the private sector and funded through member contributions. Established by Proclamation No. 341/2003, its primary mission revolves around promoting commerce, industry, and investment within the region. Serving as a platform for local businesses, ARCCSA facilitates member engagement in their respective sectors while also serving as a conduit for proposing and advising on matters crucial to economic advancement, as mandated by the proclamation.

Officially launched in Bahir Dar city in January 2007, the chamber assumes a vital role in coordinating the activities of city chambers of commerce, sectoral associations, and Woreda sectoral associations across the region. It acts as a central point for collaboration and support, particularly in areas where these chambers or associations are absent, ensuring that appropriate assistance and guidance are provided. ARCCSA’s primary objective is to cultivate an environment conducive to business growth and economic prosperity throughout the Amhara region.
